Supply of Veterinary Services

All Fond Farewell Vets home euthanasia visits will be carried out by a qualified Veterinary Surgeon and in accordance with normal professional standards.

We reserve the right to decline our services at our discretion.

You are free to seek a second opinion from another Veterinary Surgeon, at your own cost, should you wish.

Payment

We prefer to take payment in advance of the Home Euthanasia Visit. A full refund will be issued should the visit be cancelled by Fond Farewell Vets or if the visit is cancelled by the client more than 24 hours before the appointment.

If the client cancels the appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a £75 charge will be applied. If we are unable to carry out the procedure for a reason not declared by the client, e.g. extreme aggression, we may or may not issue a refund at our own discretion.

All invoices should be settled within 14 days of receipt. Failure to make payment within 14 days may result in additional charges to cover the cost of late payment. If necessary, overdue accounts may be passed over to a debt collection agency.

Insurance

Fond Farewell Vets holds Professional Indemnity Insurance to a maximum of:

£200,000 for criminal or disciplinary action
£10,000,000 per claim for human injury
£250,000 per claim for civil liability relating to domestic pets

These together are our “Insured Sum” for any single claim.

We supply Veterinary Services to you on the condition that our liability for any loss, claim, cost or expense shall be limited to a maximum of the Insured Sum. If this is not the case then you must let us know prior to engaging our services at info@fondfarewellvets.co.uk

Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused to a human being or render us liable for any indirect or consequential loss, which liability shall be excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Complaints

We do everything we can to provide the best possible service at Fond Farewell Vets, however, if you are not completely happy with the service that you have received please contact us at info@fondfarewellvets.co.uk

Should you decide to make a formal complaint we will share this information with our insurers and professional advisors.
